Dr. Avinash BS is a highly accomplished periodontist with over 16 years of experience in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Bapuji Dental College and Hospital in 2002, followed by a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontology from JSS Dental College and Hospital in 2007

He is a dedicated educator and has been actively involved in teaching since 2007, mentoring postgraduate students, and conducting various courses. He has contributed significantly to periodontal research with over 35 publications in national and international journals and involvement in 10+ research projects, including four as a Co-Principal Investigator for projects funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). With a wealth of surgical experience, Dr. Avinash has performed over 1000 periodontal surgeries and placed more than 500 dental implants. He is recognized as a course mentor for Comprehensive Training in Implant Dentistry (CTID) and serves as a mentor and coordinator for the Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics (PAOO) program. Additionally, he is an iTOP mentor and a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Curaprox India, showcasing his expertise and leadership in the field. Dr. Avinash’s dedication to periodontics and implant dentistry has earned him a reputation as a respected clinician, educator, and researcher in his field.
